I don’t have anything bad to say about them. I guess I just feel more secure with a headset.

I have a neurological condition which noise makes worse. I either use earmuff type noise cancellation devices or I have used the “orange” earplugs that you squeeze to get into the ear. I was hoping these would be better than the “orange” earplugs. They are not. More noise, very sore ears due to I kept pushing them in further and further attempting to not hear the carrot crunching in the back seat of the car. No use, I put in the “orange” ones. Awhhh relief.

I am writing this with ringing in my left ear after my earplug came loose a bit and a .40cal round went off next to me. well that’s convinced me to get pelto earmuffs instead which is why im back on this site but first decided to share. better safe than deaf. also, had to keep adjusting them all day so they were not for me. im not NOT recommending these but they are not 100% safe and/or idiot proof because they can come loose at the wrong time.

These were a great idea. I can use these in both indoor and outdoor ranges. They are comfortable and work as advertised.
The only disadvantage that I’ve found is that it’s quite common to wear both in-ear protectors as well as muff-style protectors, but depending on how shallow or deep your over-the-ear protectors are, these earplugs protrude out quite far and might not fit under them.
As a general note, triple-flanged earpieces like this tend to go deeper into your ear than foam earplugs. This can be painful for some people or can cause irritation.
